About This Project
I love coding with Python, and recently, I took an amazing course on the Django web framework by Charles Severance. At the same time, I'm learning German! This project brings both passions together. This website was built entirely with the python framework Django, with some JavaScript, and HTML (Bootstrap-based).
The data for German nouns, articles, word frequency, and proficiency levels comes from DWDS - Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache, an online German dictionary and text corpus that I regularly use for my own language learning.
